Spades Pro App Reviews

Good Game but ..

Good games but no support. The game payed 2 more cards and I had none left. Tried to contact support from their link in the App store to let them know but no Support page when I clicked through. A bit pricey.

Don’t waste your money - paid version partner just as bad!

The partner trumps your Aces constantly. Trumps your anything. Partner will throw in his Aces then not have it on the next turn when needed - not having the King back up — pitiful player! Once in a while? Maybe it would be the way a real partner would play, but this is a regular occurance! This APP needs fixing and upgrading! Do not waste your money on the paid version… I bought it thinking I could change partners or at least control the partners ability to play the game. He still stinks at Spades! Regardless of settings, this partner is pitiful. Paid version should at least allow you to make some choices as to who your partner is - or to select from a variety of partners. Worst partner - ever! I do NOT understand how anyone could give this 5 stars! I would give it zero, but one was required!

Nothing Pro about it!

Your partner is only concerned about makeing its bid. Partnere has no clue how to defend their partner when they bid nil or blind nil. case in point on the third time around left throws a 3, partner in void but doesn’t throe a spade or worse when its its lead it throes a small card I’m unable to get under. Even in regular games partner only has an interest in making its bid. Bags be damned! Poor bidding and poor playing is the hallmark of your partner. This game needs much improvement, I’d like my $$$ back!

Bot Partner Out Bids My Winning Trump Card Frequently

Bot algorithm me much work at playing with partner.

stupid

the game is ridiculous. if you bid zero, your partner will let you take tricks every time!!! a complete waste of time.

Awful partner

Try to bid nil, the partner plays a low card, you take the trick, then the partner plays a higher card that would have protected you. “Pro” is a misnomer. Terrible parter.

Waste of Money

As I read in several reviews before I purchased the Pro version, your partner does not cover a nil bid worth a darn. I’ve tried all 3 partner settings and the results are the same. Really takes the fun out of playing Spades...

Only because I can’t give no stars

Partner is a horrible player. Partner will lead a deuce when I have gone nil. Luckily, opponents are also horrible players so they might cover anyway. When you break spades, neither partner nor opponents remember that you are out of a given suit. A brand new beginner would play better than these three after only a few minutes.

Finally

Finally there is a good solid spades app. You can set the game up for several different levels of difficulty as well as how agressive your partner will be. Its worth the price of $4.99!

No Control Of Settings… Too Fast…

No control of the speed of the game. Way too fast. No way to back up in case you blinked and missed the cards played. Will be looking for another spades app.

good game for the money

For $4.95 it’s a great game. No complaints. My partner over bids at least 1 time on average setting, so, I always try to get 1 extra bid in on my end to compensate.

Really lousy game, we should be paid for space used on our drives by the game.

Partner intentionally loses, has an IQ that is negative. Cannot stress more how horrible he plays. I would give it a negative rating if I could. Players should be paid to play, it is that bad. In case the person that wrote this is too stupid to know, you do not have to trump unless trump was led. When you are going nil your partner will lead a small card while having the ace of that suit. It may be inappropriate, but it is completely true. If you were ethical you would post it, but you aren’t. Yoiu are charging people for an inferior product.

it’s Pretty Good

A good way to waste some time. The free version is almost as good. The Pro version has stats but only a few (could have more) Even when playing on most difficult setting the computer players do not bid accurately and your computer partner will screw you when you are bidding nil.

Finally a quality Spades Game!

Yeh, you have to spend the money. But if you want a quality spades game, this is it. I agree with a the positive reviewers. I have not seen what the previous One Star reviewer was complaining about. So far partner has played pretty well. Will update if my opinion changes as log in the hours! ...

CAN I GET MY MONEY BACK

not what i expected,my team mate seems to be playing for the other team, not for our team,This just make me MADER & MADER, Please give my money back,i don’t want this game

As much as I love Spades

I have never seen a program for spades so poorly put together…. your partner will cut you, wont make books, the other teams give away books intentionally… this is just a terrible game… partner wont cover you on nils or blind and then you see that they could have covered…. terrible, terrible, terrible…. you are wrong for charging anyone for this game….we should file a class action lawsuit for paying for such a terrible app….smh

Partner plays dumb

I am constantly getting cut by partner. I play an ace and he cuts with a spade. I go nil and he leads a 2 when he is holding A. This happens over and over again.

NEED BETTER PARTNER

Partnes need to be configured to support partner. The partner will cut your card when you are winning the trick; they will play a lower card when you are playing a nil; they will draw trump when you have bid nil and need to be able to underplay trump when someone has cut. In general, the partner portion of the game needs to be upgraded. I do not feel this was a good investment because the partner is so very poor.

Horrible Partner

I agree with some that the partner given is a horrible player. You have to play doubly hard to keep from losing. I love spades and I would love to be able to change the partner

Would not have paid for it had I been able to try it first

The algorithms used in this game are simply stupid. You go nil and your partner leads with the two of a suit after having thrown away much higher cards. It’s marginally entertaining but more frustrating when something this stupid happens.
